Structural Characteristics of Sewage Tank Cover Plates:
1、Service Life: The membrane part has a service life of 15-20 years, while the steel structure part has a service life of 50 years.
2、Applicability to Large-Span Tanks: Suitable for tank bodies with large spans.
3、Superior Performance of Membrane: The membrane itself has excellent anti-corrosion performance and light self-weight, which gives it advantages for large-span tank bodies. It also features diverse shapes, presenting an attractive and innovative appearance.
4、Fast Installation: The fabrication of the steel structure and the processing of the membrane are both carried out in factories, ensuring processing quality. On-site installation takes a short time, reducing the occupation of the construction site.
5、Convenient Maintenance: Due to process requirements, regular maintenance and inspection of equipment are necessary. This can be addressed by reserving doors and passages on the edge membrane.
In sewage treatment plants, cover plates are required to seal sewage tanks either for engineering improvements or process needs. On one hand, this prevents the sewage in the tanks from volatilizing and causing pollution to the surrounding environment; on the other hand, it allows pedestrians and machinery to conduct construction work on the surface of the cover plates. Therefore, the requirements for various aspects of sewage tank cover plates are extremely high.
Traditional sewage tank cover plates are mainly made of metal, with metal supports at the bottom for reinforcement. A layer of metal grid plates (for sealing) is laid on the surface, and the entire operating platform is stabilized through welding. Since sewage treatment plants contain a large number of corrosive factors and have harsh environments, metal cover plates must undergo corresponding plating or painting treatments before being put into use.
