Environmental enforcement is being strictly implemented in factories across multiple regions, with zero tolerance for illegal pollution.

In Houjie, Dongguan, a special enforcement action inspected 50 companies in the furniture manufacturing area, identifying 18 companies with violations. Two companies were subject to legal action for serious violations (including malfunctioning exhaust gas treatment facilities and direct discharge of exhaust gases from a plastic model factory using 3D printing/resin molding). Four companies were ordered to suspend production for rectification, and 12 companies were ordered to make immediate corrections.  Three additional companies were investigated based on public complaints, with a focus on addressing prominent issues such as VOCs, dust, and direct exhaust gas emissions.

Multiple regions are taking simultaneous action: Industrial provinces such as Jiangsu, Zhejiang, and Shandong are conducting special actions to prevent and control air pollution during the winter months. They are strictly investigating factories involved in air pollution (including those in painting, chemical, and foundry industries) for issues such as non-operational pollution control facilities, falsified online data, and uncontrolled emissions.  Several regions have issued fines exceeding one million yuan and publicized typical cases.
