In the first stage, the horizontal scrubber removes acidic or alkaline gas components (such as ammonia, H₂S, SO₂, or VOCs) through chemical absorption using acid-base solutions.
In the second stage, the pre-treated air is sent to a biofilter or biological tower, where microorganisms decompose the remaining odorous compounds into harmless substances.
System Advantages:
Two-stage purification: physical-chemical + biological
Efficient removal of both inorganic and organic odors
High removal efficiency: ≥95%
FRP, PP or HDPE materials available for excellent corrosion resistance
Ideal for medium to high odor concentrations
Modular design, easy maintenance, low energy consumption
Application Scenarios:
Wastewater treatment stations
Sludge dewatering and drying plants
Garbage sorting and transfer centers
Kitchen & food waste processing plants
Chemical and pharmaceutical odor control
