The system draws in contaminated air through a fan and directs it into the purification tower. Inside the tower, a neutralizing solution (typically alkaline) is sprayed in a counter-current direction, effectively removing acid mist (HCl, H₂SO₄, HNO₃) and other corrosive gases. Clean air is then released after passing through a demister and exhaust outlet.
